Watercolors Are My Passion!
My Ideas Come From Everyday Life – From Patterns And Images Found On The Internet; From My Sketchbook Doodles; From The Books I Read Or From Conversations With Friends. Nature Too, Is A Constant Source Of Inspiration.
Using Patterns And Color, I Paint Things That People Can Get Lost In. I Want To Show The "Everything Of Emotions", The Energy Of Life Or My Own Personal Moods. I Combine Colors To Make Them “Pop” And Am Obsessed With Painting Details. Striving To Combine All Of These Elements Into My Pieces Is One Of My Goals, Which Pleases Me.
I Grew Up In 60'S-Era San Francisco, Lived In The Bay Area During The 70'S, And Now Live In Roseville, California. The Artists That Have Inspired Me Are Peter Max, Maxfield Parrish, Alponse Mucha, Wassily Kandinsky, Yoko DHolbachie, Rex Ray, Daniel Marriem, Georgia O’Keefe, Salvador Dali And M.C. Escher.
While I Consider Myself A Self-Taught Artist, I Was Lucky Enough To Strike Gold With William L. Clark, My High School Art Teacher. I Got Lucky Again And At Present I Am A Student Of Pat Abraham, Watermedia Artist.
